Wedding in Malta - Lauren and Chris

Lauren and Chris got married in July 2014 in a beautiful garden venue. Lauren and Chris, two marathon runners who reside in Prague, met us in person just two days before the wedding day in Malta. However, Lauren had contacted us at Pearl Weddings Malta about eight months before the wedding. After the bride to be had given us details of what she likes, her budget and number of guests we shortlisted the venues that fits Lauren requirements to three. The bride had a hard time to decide between two equally stunning yet different venues. She finally decided to go for the garden venue after seeing pictures of the gazebo under which the civil ceremony will take place.

While several areas of the garden can be used to carry out the wedding dinner, the bride opted to have the dinner around a fountain with the soothing sounds of the runner water in the background. Also, it was decided that fairy lights in the shrubs surrounding the fountain will be used to give a more romantic effect .

The colour theme was fushia, black and white. All three colours were incorporated in the set up of the dining area. The groom and the groom’s party had the same colour themed tuxedos while the bridesmaids had beautiful black dresses and personalised fushia clutches. Lauren looked absolutely stunning in her white wedding dress and the bridal bouquet complemented the colour them to perfection. The cake was plain white with fushia flowers and black ribbon around each tier. Since both the bride and the groom are avid runners, they opted to have a lovely cake topper consisting of two wire runners running towards each other with a heart in the middle containing their names.

Lauren’s brother was the master of ceremony . The couple had several speeches, some of which were done before the wedding dinner and some during the after party. Lauren and Chris opted to have both a wedding photographer and videographer which as previously agreed were present from the beginning of the civil wedding till the beginning of the sit down meal. The couple were shy in the beginning however they soon opened up allowing the photographer and videographer to capture some truly fine moments.

The Couple and their guests enjoyed every single moment of the wedding from the civil ceremony to the sit down meal and all the way to the after party. The bride and groom thanked us for our services not only on the day but also after they left Malta.

For us at Pearl Weddings Malta, it was a joy to plan this wedding and to see it all come together exactly as the bride and groom wanted. We thank the bride for the trust she placed in our judgement which enabled us to create a stunning wedding for such a loving couple

‘The wedding day is now over however the lovely memories of our wedding day will be carried in our hearts and minds. The photos are stunning and will be a reminder of the great times we had during our wedding in Malta. Thank you for your help and support..’ - Lauren (July 2014)
