Kathleen and Shane contacted us around fourteen months before their wedding after they decided to part ways with their previously selected wedding planner. After an initial consultation, the bride and groom to be set their mind on ‘The View’ as their wedding venue. The View is an amazing beach club that commands great sea views. Soon after the initial consultation, Kathleen and Shane felt comfortable enough to book us as their wedding planners in Malta and their wedding was booked for September 2013.
The weather forecast for the day of the wedding was rainy and windy, thus we had made alternative indoor back up plans for the wedding. Luckily, the forecast was wrong and it turned out to be a sunny day with a gentle breeze – the idea weather for a wedding. We set up the civil wedding ceremony on the terrace, literally a few inched away from the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. The guests where greeted with some champagne on arrival and then were ushered to their seats at the civil wedding ceremony. On arrival at the venue, the bride’s face was full with excitement and she was extremely delighted to spot her husband to be, her family and friends all waiting and cheering for her down on the terrace. She make her grand entrance together with her father, the two bridesmaids and the two flower girls down the wooden staircase to the civil wedding ceremony area. After saying their ‘IDo’s’ and exchanging rings the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed some more champagne while admiring the beautiful sunset in front of their eyes.
After the cake cutting which was carried out by the water’s edge, Kathleen, Shane and their guests were ushered to a beautiful terrace where they enjoyed a sumptuous buffet dinner. Also an open bar was set up close to the dining area with a selection of the finest drinks as well as the favourite drinks of the newlyweds. This was followed by a private music party for them and their guests in the terrace overlooking the sea.
